Engine Parts
The engine, invisible from outside include the parts driven at extremely high RPM, on the order of several thousand cycles each minute. This puts the parts in an environment of intensely harsh conditions where they are subjected to severe vibration, high temperatures, and destructive friction. OTICS engine parts can be found in such extream conditions, giving great support to its engine as critical conponents. OTICS technology merges the mutually contradictory elements of light weight and high durability.
Moreover, we are always aiming to enhance the sense of enjoyment which only cars can provide, developing new technologies such as continuously variable valve timing systems that adjust intake valve openings in response to the RPM, along with other technologies to make driving more comfortable. We also strive to develop technologies for cleaner exhaust gas emissions and improved fuel economy, along with other technologies developed with the well-being of humans and the environment in mind.
Valve Train Parts
Roller Rocker Arms

- Product Overview

Roller rocker arms are valve train parts that utilize rollers at the point of connection with the cam shaft to reduce valve train friction to the lowest possible level. These conponents are now having much attention due to the way its constructed, and support the reduction of fuel consomption. OTICS roller rocker arms are specially designed for compactness and light weight, thus allowing them to be used in a various engine sizes, from small to large. Moreover, we are developing production technologies to meet the firest cost for our customers, such as sheet metal stanping method(*1) in use for minimizing cutting process.
*1) Sheet metal stamping method: manufacturing method whereby sheet metal is process with presses
Hydraulic Lash Adjusters

- Product Overview
- Hydraulic lash adjusters are placed on the active fulcrum for roller rocker arms. Their intended function is to automatically adjust changes in clearance and sustain zero tappet clearance and it results in maintenance-free performance. This allows engine performance to be maintained at constant, even over long periods of use. OTICS lash adjusters are fabricated to endure high rotational speeds and high output, and moreover are designed to help reducting emissions, thus satisfying the contrary aims of improving environmental performance and increasing motive power.
Valve Lifters and Roller Tappets

Situated in the engine's valve train, valve lifters that are commonly referred to as "direct acting" transmit the motion of the camshaft directly to the intake and exhaust valves. Their simple, lightweight construction makes them a natural choice for high-performance and compact engines. At OTICS, we develop technologies to increase performance, lightweighting valve lifter and offer diverse selections of valve lifters including shim-less lifters (for high performance, light weight, and low cost), aluminum alloy lifters (light weight and less noise), and lifters with special surface processing (low friction (*2)).
OTICS also develops and manufactures roller tappet products-designed primarily for overhead valve (OHV) type diesel engines-same as our valve lifters, aming to decrease friction and light weight.*2) friction: destructive friction
Rocker Shaft Assemblies

- Product Overview
- Rocker shaft assemblies are used in single overhead cam (SOHC) and overhead valve (OHV) engines, and they are constructed by components including rocker arms, the rocker shaft which acts as their pivot shaft, and other supportive components. OTICS manufactures rocker arms using a variety of processing methods including aluminum die-casting, casting, and forging, and we make full use of our wealth of experience in heat treatment and surface processing to meet the customer's requirements.
Variable Valve Timing Mechanisms

- The continuously variable valve timing mechanisms adjust intake valve openings continuously in response to the engine's RPM, thus providing optimal controlling of air intake resulting in achieving better fuel, lower emissions as well as higher output over the entire range of RPM, which usually considered as contradiction. Additionally, variable valve timing and lift mechanisms using switching mechanisms within the rocker arms to select the appropriate cam for low and high RPM provide better fuel enhance output. With our wealth of experience in developing new continuously variable valve timing system technology and in existing forms of variable engine valve mechanisms, we at OTICS are always ready to meet our customers needs.

Fuel Delivery Pipes

- Product Overview
- Fuel delivery pipes deliver and supply fuel to the combustion chambers. OTICS delivery pipes are constructed from aluminum for light weight and low cost. we also continue working to develop surface processing for compatibility with different fuel types and construction methods enabling parts to withstand high pressures.
Common Rails

- Product Overview
- Used in diesel engines, common rails function like delivery pipes, delivering and supplying fuel to the combustion chambers. OTICS develops and manufactures products correspond to high pressure resistance.
